The original Ibizan cuisine itself already offers a large selection of dishes: rabbit, lamb and poultry, and of course, as is the case for an island, fish and seafood. However, many foreign restaurateurs have also become at home in Ibiza and ensure a great variety. “Lio”: The luxury restaurant “Lio” – extremely popular with celebrities – stands on a rock above the harbor. It is advisable to come to the restaurant around 8 p.m. The tables will probably be occupied later. The wine lovers among the guests can get extra advice from the sommelier in the wine cellar, which fine wine is best suited to their menu. Later in the evening there will be shows in the “Lio”: acrobatics, ballet and cabaret.

“Es Mirador”: The “Es Mirador” is the restaurant of the five-star luxury hotel “Mirador de Dalt Vila”. Guests enjoy Mediterranean gourmet cuisine in an elegant atmosphere, the wine list leaves nothing to be desired. The hotel with its restaurant is located in a former manor house from the 19th century, and the guest believes they can feel the flair of the Belle Epoque…

“La Mezcalería Mexiterránea”: The name says it all! In this gourmet restaurant in the “Dalt Vila”, the old town of Eivissa, Mexican and Mediterranean cuisine are artfully combined. Enjoy fish dishes, oysters, Mexican agave schnapps and, for dessert, an ice cream that has of course been freshly prepared. The restaurant is open daily from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m. Night owls can also treat themselves to a cocktail here before returning to their hotel.

“La Oliva”: The “La Oliva” restaurant is located in a narrow alley in the old town. Provencal and Mediterranean dishes are on the menu. Do you love fish dishes (maybe salmon?), Chicken or well-cooked meat? Then take a seat in “La Oliva” – inside or at one of the tables in front of the restaurant on the alley! (Of course it’s a pedestrian zone!)

“Pastis”: A French couple runs this small, family-run restaurant in Eivissa, just outside the old town. The wine list offers the right good drops for typical French dishes. French chansons can be heard as subtle background music. In short: you have the feeling of sitting on a side street in Paris…

“La Paloma Café”: This rural restaurant near San Juan is an insider tip for lovers of biodynamic cuisine. The employees harvest lettuce and herbs in their own garden, and they even bake bread themselves. The guests are not only delighted with the good food, but also with the romantic surroundings, the well-tended garden, the orange trees…

“Bambuddha”: Here fans of Asian cuisine get their money’s worth. Sushi, Peking duck and numerous other Asian dishes are served in the “Bambuddha” near Santa Gertrudis in the middle of the island. Buddha statues and Asian handicrafts adorn the rooms, which are open to guests daily for dinner (7.30 p.m. to 3.00 a.m.).

“Tropicana Ibiza Beach Club”: One of the most elegant beach restaurants on the island is located on the “Cala Jondal” beach near San José. Ibizan and Mediterranean cuisine are served here. If you have something to celebrate, order champagne.

“Las Dos Lunas”: This is an Italian restaurant in San Rafael. The guests take a seat on beautiful terraces. The restaurant is very popular with celebrities, not only because of the excellent selection of good wine.

“Es Boldado”: In the beach restaurant in the south of the island, on the small sandy beach “Cala D’Hort”, guests are welcome for breakfast in the morning. Lunch and dinner are also recommended in this restaurant. The main focus of the menu is fish dishes. The paella is also very tasty.
