Juana MartíN in The Cibeles Catwalk Fall-Winter 2006-2007

Juana Martín We were surprised in this edition of Cibeles because it has shown a collection without frills, non-Andalusian air, as usual in it. This time it was inspired by one of the great contemporary fashion: Balenciaga.

A monochromatic collection in black, full of dresses, shorts, skinny pants and coats in different lengths, all carved in silks, crepes, long Brocade, silk wild, wool, lace, tulle and cotton damask. A very feminine line, that significantly enhances the silhouette of women in many of his designs, since on the contrary there are many parts whose essential characteristic are exaggerated and voluminous forms that enhance the curves.

After the monochromatic parade in black, Juana Martín gave us a surprise in the farewell: the models paraded with the same designs but blank. The setting in scene, simple but with a very Andalusian sound, a soft flamenco guitar in the background. Despite waiting a full collection of flyers, this new line of the Andalusian designer liked notably.
